Thought leader and innovator, Erika Etlen, founded Emerje Marketing because over the course of 20-plus years of working as a B2B marketing expert, she saw a Grand Canyon-sized gap among small to mid-cap organizations:

She began operating as a Fractional Chief Marketing officer for fast-growing professional services firms in the financial space, applying her previous experience with traditional, digital and event marketing to help them increase their revenue by millions of dollars. As her reputation grew, so did her client roster and her team. Today she leads a team of marketing specialists who are dedicated to helping smaller businesses take the “big company” marketing principles and adapt them for their more focused goals and more finite budgets.

Erika has a background steeped in strategic marketing, website development, communications, and public relations essential to the organizational success of large and small corporations.
She’s the proud recipient of several awards, including the 2018 Women World Awards, Silver Level, Female Executive of the Year and IT World Awards 2018, Gold-Level, and Marketing Professional of the Year.
Erika has a B.A. in English from Muhlenberg College and an M.S. in Strategic Communications from Fordham University (Go Mules and Rams!).
When she’s not helping others stand out, you’ll find her running, listening to pop culture podcasts, spending time with her daughter, and binge-watching Law & Order. She celebrates her success and the success of her clients by treating herself to a solo sushi and chardonnay date each week. Cheers.

Ever since she began her career as an entry-level admin on the non-stop streets of New York City, Erika has dreamed of the day when she could wear jeans and a blazer to work. Now, she can (take that, Big Apple).
Before starting her own consulting firm, Erika managed the marketing acquisition and retention efforts at E*TRADE Corporate Services and then ran the marketing, communications, and public relations for the technology division of Bloomberg Industry Group.
Regarded as a thought leader and innovator, Erika has a genuine passion for working collaboratively with her clients to design integrated marketing, public relations, and social media programs to drive quantitative results quickly.
A natural-born organizer and creative, Rachel is the unicorn who implements all our big and small ideas. From copy editing and managing social media, to email marketing and managing all things tech, Rachel’s superpower is getting it done while keeping both the big picture and fine details in mind. She also helps manage our amazing team of trusted contractors and partners.
Her work yields impressive results (we’re talking millions in revenue) and she’s not afraid to ask the tough questions, get in the trenches, and find creative solutions to our clients’ biggest challenges.
Rachel is a wife and mom (one human, three pups), and when her laptop is shut down, she loves spending time by the ocean, hiking, riding her bike, and exploring new plant-based restaurants.
